Meet Dr. Nguyen
Dr. Diem Nguyen graduated from Howard University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors in 2001. She has been dispensing excellent dental care ever since. During her academic career, Dr. Nguyen received many honors and accolades for her exemplary achievements. She is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Nguyen is a brilliant and dedicated general and cosmetic dentist at the Arlington Center for Dentistry where she provides preventive and diagnostic dental care using a variety of procedures. Those procedures include crowns, bridges, and veneers, tooth fillings, tooth extractions, and root canal treatments. She also provides gum treatments, teeth whitening, implant restorations and laser dental treatments. Dr. Nguyen is also certified in Invisalign®. Besides her private practice work, Dr. Nguyen actively participates in Hope for Tomorrow and Operation Smiles for Children. These are volunteer-based organizations dedicated to improving the health and lives of children worldwide by providing free dental care and surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lips, cleft palates or other dental and facial conditions.
Dr. Nguyen has served as an active member of national and local professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Association. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Northern Virginia Dental Hygiene Department.
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys decorating, gardening, traveling, and her humanitarian efforts through volunteer activities and other public service projects. She is heavily involved in her community and consistently volunteers with local health fairs and churches to dispense free dental care to residents and help underserved patients. She is currently a resident of Fairfax, Virginia.
